Job Description Title: Class 2 Delivery Driver
Area: to be located from the Gravesend office (DA12 2PS)

Our client is a leading general haulage business conveniently located in Gravesend close to the M25, M2 and M20 motorways.

They operate a modern fleet of 44t articulated vehicles and take pride in delivering an efficient and reliable service 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Their professional staff are totally customer focused and have built a reputation for their flexible can-do attitude.

Role:

This is a great role for a growing Kent based haulage company. On average you will be making 7-9 drops per day

Contracted Hours are 48.5 per week with starts between 6am & 7am.

You’ll be delivering non-food products to our customers in multiple locations throughout the day. The route can vary on a day-to-day basis but predominantly a route will be allocated to you.

These goods are largely palletised but on occasion they can be loose goods or caged.
All the goods will be preloaded by the warehouse staff the night before and will be assisted by a route planner. You will be working Monday - Friday.

Market: You will be delivering to a wide range of customers including restaurants, commercial units, industrial sites, engineering companies and occasionally private residence.

Location: accessible to the office in Gravesend (DA12 2PS) and hold at least a class 2 licence

Package
Basic: £26,000 - £28,000
Holiday: 20 days plus statutory Bank Holiday
Overtime: Yes, to be agreed with Manager
