Product and Services: The product in particular they sell is the hot food. They do also sell other products such as Nachos, burgers and also have a selection of gourmet products including hot dogs. You will be selling the hot food counters, hot foodss, sauces.
Role: This role is as a field sales executive covering the areas above. You would need to call on around 6-8 people per day. There is lots of potential to grow and bring on new business in the area as there are 100’s of places you can sell a hot food counter into. The potential to bring on new business within the area is great you need to have the will to go out and hunt new business as this is predominantly a new business role.
The turnover within this already is £1.1 million pounds worth of business.
1. Regional Turnover. Sales versus budget.
2. Minimum of 12 new sites per month (across Retail & Foodservice)
3. £4,500 new business orders per month.
4. 30 retention calls made per quarter5. Ensure % not ordered in last 4 weeks is less than 25%.
6. Minimum of 2 Regional Symbol Group meetings per month.
Market: The markets you will be selling into is anywhere that customers would buy a hot dog. The variety of venues is endless, you can sell into Golf Clubs, Leisure Centres, Zoo’s, Garage forecourts, cinema’s university etc.
Split between New & Established: A mixture of 80% new business and 20% existing business
Person: The type of person *** are looking for is a bubbly, outgoing, positive, hardworking hunter. Ideally you should have foodservice but if you are a new business hunter within a different industry that would consider this.
Package: The basic salary would be up to £26,000 this would be for the right candidate. You will get a company car and fuel card and gym benefits.
The company **** was EST 1992 with a current turnover of around £15 million a year and they are looking to grow this extensively over the next 18 months. The reps currently stands at 8, but as mentioned the sales team is going to expand rapidly over the next 18 months. They have recently been purchased by the **** with this in mind the funding over the next 18 months will be huge, giving the plans to expand a huge boost.
