Job Description – Storeman/Woman
CLA-VAL UK Ltd are seeking a store person with warehouse and fitting experience to join our small and friendly company to manage goods In and out including the preparation of orders for dispatch. This varied role is split between preparation of goods for dispatch (60%), Workshop which can include basic product assembly, (20%) and administration (20%). These tasks are performed in close co-ordination with sales admin colleagues. This role would suit someone with a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Purchase Order entry to maintain minimum stock levels.
• Fork lift truck operation
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, quality check, store)
• Perform inventory controls and maintain high standards in preparation for audits
• product assembly from component parts, including pressure testing and quality checks - full training given.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations

Hours: 37 Hours per week
08:30 to 5pm Monday to Thursday
08:30 to 4:30 Friday
Holiday entitlement: 20 days + Public holidays and Christmas week.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Forklift experience (licence preferred).
• Proven working experience as a storeman/Woman
• Basic proficiency in the use of computers for preparation of shipping labels, inventory and stock orders etc.
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Mechanically minded
• Ability to lift heavy objects
