Job Title: Import Export Assistant

Salary: Competitive

Location: Medway

This is a Temporary - Permenant opportunity

Fantastic opportunity for an Import Export Assistant to join a great employer based in Medway, with full training provided.

The purpose of this role is to assist in the preparation and handling of shipments via UK ports, raw stock management, and completion of all associated paperwork.

Duties include:

* Using Sale and Purchase Orders.
* Creating shipments.
* Tracking containers using shipping websites.
* Completing licence applications.
* Organising returns of raw materials.
* Updating stock reports accurately.
* Completing customs clearance procedures.

The successful candidate will have/be:

* Experience within a similar role. (Desirable but not essential)
* Excellent customer service and relationship building skills.
* The ability to thrive under pressure, multi-tasking and prioritising effectively.
* A positive and proactive attitude.
