We are looking for an experienced Practitioner to join our client's growing Baby and Toddler team. You need to be passionate about Early Years and have a level 2 or 3 NVQ qualification.
Key Operational Responsibilities:
* Demonstrate and ensure good practise and compliance with the current EYFS framework through adherence to Policies and procedures.
* Encourage and assist the children you are supporting to developing independent skills.
* Maintaining and monitoring of accurate and effective learning journals.
* Work in partnership with parent/carers and other professionals
* Maintain all safeguarding practices using the policies.
* Practice positive behaviour management techniques.
* Have a child centred approach, observations and planning process meets the needs of all children and their interests.
* Support the team to promote diversity and equality
* Attend staff meetings and training sessions including all mandatory training for continuous professional development.
* Encourage a learning environment with an open thought process where all ideas are valued.
The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
