This is an amazing opportunity for creative, resilient, passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team delivering a new project being rolled out across East Kent.

The service focuses on supporting older people (aged 55 and over) to maintain and improve their wellbeing, and develop resilience and confidence to help them live as independently as possible. This includes developing and delivering a range of activities to support individuals.

As a Wellbeing Coordinator, you will be part of a team providing a triage service to assess need, responding to enquiries by phone and email, processing new referrals and allocating them to the wider service. You will work with Imago and other health and social care colleagues to support individuals to access activities within their own community, and working together, you will support people to achieve their personal goals and improve wellbeing.

The team will provide information, advice and signposting guidance to connect people to local opportunities and activities, so you should be confident speaking to clients, family members and professionals. Key to this role is the ability to manage calls efficiently, and collate information in a timely manner while inputting information on to our case management system. You will research and gather information about activities and organisations to ensure the service is well informed and high quality.

Applicants should have excellent communication and data entry skills; you should be proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience of using databases. Knowledge of local services and experience of working in an office environment would be helpful.

The office is based in Mersham, near Ashford, which is a rural location.
