RVL are a specialised manufacturer of electronic PCB assemblies and products based in Matfield. Due to an increase in work we are looking for a Production Supervisor. We specialise in low to mid volume products and the work is interesting and varied, with new challenges to solve every day. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background coupled with excellent man management skills and will be highly motivated. There are good prospects to progress within the company and gain new skills in running and managing a growing production facility.

Production Supervisor Requirements:

• Must have hands on experience of PCB assembly
• Supervise a small team of production and test operatives (team size of seven initially) and manage their day-to-day performance
• Communicate with the Production Manager on daily matters
• Work with the Production Manager to schedule production and set goals both short term and long term
• Communicate with Directors on KPIs (Efficiency, delivery and quality)
• Manage supply of parts from stores to production using MRP
• Review and update technical document packs prior to production
• Identify training needs and opportunities for production operatives
• Ensure regular production equipment calibration and servicing is maintained.
• Ideally a working knowledge of IPC610 standard, current or previous, or a similar standard
• Will have experience working in an ISO9001 accredited company
• Identifying changes to working methods and processes to improve quality, efficiency and with the view to reducing waste and costs
• Actively support and engage with team members in all assembly activities so as to build team trust and respect, and participation in
achieving common goals


Hours: 37.5hrs per week Monday to Friday
Salary: £28-£35k depending on experience
Annual bonus based on profitability of the business
