HR Administrator Temp Contract Canterbury
Town and Country Cleaners are looking for a HR Administrator for an initial 6-month period subject to extension if required (Maternity Cover). Monday to Friday 9am-5pm (1 hour unpaid break).
£11.35 PH.
Office located in city center Canterbury with parking.
Town and Country cleaners LTD are a commercial cleaning and facilities management company employing almost 600 staff across the Southeast.
Working from our Head Office, you will support the HR function and report to the HR Manager.
Duties include:
- Administering the company’s recruitment function, including posting and monitoring job adverts, taking recruitment applications by phone and initial vetting process.
- Assisting in the administration of absence management, taking calls from staff and tracking absences periods.
- Front line phone answering for head office from staff and customers.
- Participating as witness note taker for employment relations meetings.
- Assisting in the administration of personal files and updating company HR systems
- Supporting the Operations and Payroll departments as required.
Skills required
- Strong administration skills and competent with Microsoft Office.
- Good telephone manner.
- Ability to work in a busy, open office environment.
Experience and education:
- GCSE Math’s and English 9-4 (A-C) S
- Specific HR experience is not required but it would be preferable to have experience working in an office environment supporting HR related functions as listed above.
