We are looking for an experienced and qualified forklift/ telehandler operator who will also take on responsibilities for staff supervision/team leadership and yard security (responsibility for keys to yard). Although experience on forklifts is ideal we would also consider candidates who can show experience on other machines where skills are transferable to forklifts. For example on excavators, tractors and other mobile commercial equipment. We can offer forklift testing if your forklift licence doesn't cover the reach forklifts we use. Experience of team leadership and staff supervision essential in the development of the role
Job Role
-Main task stacking/packing of fencing rolls using JCB Teletruk forklift (includes some manual handling). Supervising this manufacturing area
-Unloading of inbound and outbound vehicles including checking using a small telehandler. e.g. European Lorries, couriers etc
-General maintenance checks of forklifts including safety checks.
-material movements to various manufacturing areas.
-Yard organisation and tidiness.
-Responsibility for opening and locking the business premises when required.
Qualifications Required
Current forklift operator licence required- If there is a requirement for further certificates these can be added.
Skills Required

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm 40 hour week
