Working as a Prep Chef and reporting to the Head Chef, you will cook and prepare all menu items to ensure a high standard of food offering.
You will work with other departments in providing effective service delivery in order to deliver an excellent standard of customer service and work towards controlling wastage of stock to ensure maximum efficiency at all times and to support the delivery of agreed margins.
To apply, you should have sound knowledge of cooking techniques and style, along with knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations in particular food hygiene and food allergies. You must have a minimum of one year's experience working at commis level or above in the catering industry. A minimum of NVQ Level 2 in professional cookery or equivalent and Level 2 in Food Safety will be essential.
The hours of work are 37 per week and this role will work morning shifts starting from 8am. As the venue is mostly open in the evenings and weekends, there may also be the requirement to work outside of the morning shift. Immediate start available.
