Portafina Investment Management has an exciting role available within their HR team. This is primarily a recruitment role but may also involve HR administrative tasks.
Starting salary in the range of £20,000 - £25,000 DOE, plus quarterly bonus scheme and supported CII exam progression.
This role is ideal for someone looking to take an early step into a HR career.
Responsibilities
Main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
In collaboration with the recruiting manager:
• Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate sites
• Source and recruit candidates by using social media etc
• Screen candidates resumes/CVs and job applications
• Conduct initial interviews by phone
• Performing other assessments of candidates' skills, such as by giving a written test
• Act as a point of contact and build candidate relationships during the selection process
• Prepare job offers and employment contracts
• Request references
To also
• Promote the company’s reputation as “best place to work”
• Assist with HR administration when required
Requirements and skills
• Basic knowledge of recruitment and/or HR desirable, but not essential
• Organised and able to work to deadlines
• Ability to conduct interviews
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Decision-making skills
• Work effectively as part of a small team
Training and support will be provided.
