Administrator
Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm (37.5hpw)
1 year contract (extension expected)
Maidstone, Kent
Competitive salary + 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, Perkbox, Pension, Parking, Full training, and home working on Fridays.

We are working with a leading consultancy based in Maidstone who have the capacity to take on a highly organised and numerical Administrator on a 1 year contract.

Initially this position will be offered on a 12 month contract; however this may be extended.

Your key purpose as Administrator will be to work as part of a close-knit professional team that are passionate about supporting the business and it's employees in any way they can. You will work closely alongside the Office Manager and current team assisting with general administration duties including acting as the first point of contact for customers via phone and email.

Responsibilities of the Administrator

* Provide full back-office support to all colleagues
* Supporting the Cost and Project Management Team operations
* General administration and maintenance of the office
* Reception duties answer incoming telephone calls ensuring visitors are dealt with efficiently
* Maintain in-house tracking spreadsheets for all current projects
* Liaise with the Cost Management team to resolve any issues relating to payments or orders
* Maintain payment trackers
* Other adhoc duties as and when required

Candidate Profile

* Previous administration/ office support experience
* Computer literate on MS Office packages
* Solid Excel user (conditional formatting, filtering)
* Knowledge of Icon and Oracle - preferred
* Previous experience working in construction/manufacturing/trade/production - preferred
* Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workflow
* Ability to create and maintain excel based reports
* Excellent people and communication skills
