We’re currently recruiting for a full-time Marketing Assistant at our Head Office in Barfrestone,Nr Dover, Kent, CT15 7JG.

We are an expert passive fire protection company, manufacturing over 200+ fire products, suitable for use in residential, commercial, industrial, historical and educational buildings, and beyond. We are committed to continuously innovating our fire products to deliver effective passive fire protection and remain at the leading edge of passive fire technology.
We’re currently recruiting for a full-time Marketing Assistant looking to build on their experience, or looking for a start in a marketing career. You will be directly managed by the Head of Department. You will be assisting with social media scheduling, designing of marketing literature and collateral. Ideally, you will have good experience with Adobe Creative Suite and have strong experience with Microsoft Office programmes. You will also have a confident telephone manner and handle calls where needed in relation to marketing enquiries.
You may be required to assist with photography and filming on short notice, so experience with digital equipment would be advantageous, but not necessary as training will be given.
On occasion, you may be asked to travel to our training centre located in Dover to assist with setting up CPD presentations, or to site to take photos with another member of staff, also setting up Teams/Zoom Meetings where required.
It is essential that you own a full, clean driving licence due to the location of the business.

What you’ll do:
• Maintain company website using WordPress
• Assist with our CRM system
• Follow a content calendar for social media scheduling
• Build on our online presence and social following
• Effective copywriting for marketing collateral and website pages
• Updating literatures and designing magazine advertisement
• Optimise SEO to improve website visibility
• Attend site visits for case studies
• Generate QR Codes
• General ad hoc duties

Ideal Skills required:
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiar with Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Photography and video editing
• Digital designing skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong communication
• A basic understanding of HTML & CSS is advantageous

Essential:
• 1 Year’s Marketing or administrative experience
• Interest in marketing and digital designing
• Qualified in marketing, admin or business-related studies
• Full, clean driving licence

Hours: 08.30am - 5.30pm
