Your new role
To provide first class financial and management information to the business. To assist the Finance Business Partners and other Business Unit managers with their regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis requirements. To be part of a small but high profile team within the organisation instrumental in the provision of information and business change support

Duties and Responsibilities: - Preparation of month-end accounts including all necessary period end adjustments - Provide financial and management information to relevant Business Partners and various sections of the business and satisfy both regular and ad-hoc analytical requirements - Production of weekly trading report - Compile and agree annual functional and Business Unit revenue and cost budgets and quarterly re-forecasts -

Contribute to the board packs to communicate results and explain major variances through written commentary and management briefing - Undertake monthly balance sheet reconciliations - Compile statistical returns - Liaise with auditors and external advisors as required - Network externally to develop a continuous knowledge of the market place and anticipate future trends, remain up-to-date with external developments - Support the planning, reporting and analysis of the various Centres of Excellence, ensuring sufficient controls in place to ensure the accuracy, completeness, timeliness and relevance of all information and that the accounting treatment adheres to current UKGAAP / IFRS policies as appropriate. -

What you'll need to succeed
Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) - Excellent IT skills including advanced excel - Experience of a medium or large sized organisation. Strong written and oral communication skills - Ability to summarise and analyse complex financial and non-financial information-

Ability to identify and distil key and emerging issues and summarise at a high level - Confident and articulate with the ability to work with minimum supervision - Able to effectively prioritise workload to meet deadlines - Experience of operating with senior managers and directors
