Position: Housekeeper
Location: Barham, Kent
Hours: Full time and Part time available
Salary: £9.23
At Cedar House we are looking to expand our team of Housekeepers. We are looking for someone who is able to provide a comprehensive cleaning service across all areas of the Hospital.
The Person:
• Ideally have some experience within a Similar role
• Excellent organisational skills to manage their work load
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Clean and damp dust all work surfaces as required.
• Empty rubbish bins and replace bin liners in all areas on a daily basis.
• Clean and disinfect washrooms, lavatories, shower cubicles and baths ensuring stocks of toilet paper and paper towels are replenished as and when required.
• Vacuum floors and carpets on a regular basis and pick up litter. Mop and clean laminate floor surfaces.
• Clean internal windows and glass panels to doors and window frames/ledges as required.
• Clean and polish mirrors, pictures and picture frames.
• Ensure stickers of cleaning materials/supplies are maintained and request for re-ordering of equipment and supplies are made prior to stocks running low.
• Take personal responsibility for ensuring that appropriate security procedures are adhered to at all times and that risks are continuously assessed and managed.
This is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities; the post holder may be required to undertake other duties following appropriate discussion with their line manager.
