Finance Business Analyst | 50-55k + package | Kent
A driven, well-established business that continues to grow through both organic growth and acquisition, are looking to appoint a commercially focussed and date driven Finance Business Analyst. This is a newly created role to support new and more detailed reporting and analysis required by the business and will very much be a business facing role. With exciting projects coming up and a real opportunity to add value, this is a great role for someone commercial and data driven with the ability to create new reporting.

Key responsibilities to include:

• Driving improvements across the companies around business reporting
• Reviewing existing business processes with the directive of improving where appropriate
• Assisting the management teams to bring value add activities to the business
• Maximise potential of existing systems to ensure working as hard for businesses as possible
• Work with the wider business to find ways to continually improve the production of meaningful management information
• Working closely with IT department to implement projects assisting in improvements across the business
• Help drive SAS database system to make it the reliable single source of finance information for the business
• Being proactive and seeking ways to improve reporting systems and outputs
• Work closely with functional teams to drive improvement process efficiencies
• Developing relationships with the wider finance team and across all departments in the business
• Provide value added analysis relevant to performance and business objectives which support and enhance management decision making

• Undertake adhoc projects as required.

Candidate Profile:

• Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA or qualified by experience
• Able to manage large data sets and to assimilate into analysis for senior management
• Able to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders
• Good interpersonal skills with an ability to liaise with other Finance team members as well as operational and commercial colleagues.
• Proactively seek solutions to problems and constantly look for opportunities to improve the control environment and therefore the service
delivered by the finance function.
• To work in a flexible manner to respond to objectives of the Finance team.
