Systems Analyst / Business Analyst - Contract

Our client, a leading manufacturing business, require an experienced Systems Analyst to join their team initially on a contract basis (circa 6 months).

The candidate will have strong experience in SQL, relational databases and the mapping of data to generate regular, automated and adhoc reports. A core focus on design of the reports is imperative to ensure they are user-friendly and summarised in dashboard formats.

Previous experience of BI solutions including Phocas, Powerpivot/Power BI would be extremely advantageous.

Previous experience of a multi-territory/currency environment would be very beneficial due to the structure of this business.

Duties
*Pulling together data from the related databases to create new and adhoc reports to provide accessibly and automation of the reported data
*Creating dashboards and focusing on the design of the reports to ensure user-friendly presentation of the data
*Alongside the other members of the systems team, ensure best practices in data management are adhered to and hi-lighting any areas of concern with the integrity of the data

Experience:
*Minimum 1-2 years' experience in using SQL to write reports that extract data from multiple databases - showing a good understanding of database structure and linking interfaces
*Excellent experience in mapping data to ensure the integrity of our data
*Previous experience of BI solutions including Phocas, PowerPivot/Power BI to design and create dashboards, KPIs and reports would be extremely advantageous
*Highly proficient in all MS office

Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm
Salary DOE, but circa £25-30K
Office based full time
