The Role:
We are looking for an experienced data analyst to help provide data-driven insights and to ensure all of our system interfaces are well built and supported. Data is critical to our business and this role sits at the heart of that.
In this varied role you will work within a small team to build solutions and provide technical support for a wide range of business systems across the Brewery, support office and managed pub estate. You will have the opportunity to solve complex day-to-day issues and make a significant contribution on projects to support future business success.
The Ideal Candidate:
We’d love to hear from talented data analysts with a passion for data, excellent SQL skills and a problem-solving mind-set. You will be keen to learn, skilled at multi-tasking and know how to effectively prioritise workload in order to best support the team and our customers.

• Inquisitive and analytical
• An excellent communicator with a love for knowledge sharing
• Confident to work independently and in a small team
• Skilled at building effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders
Key Responsibilities
• Provide technical support for all our MS-SQL Server database environments, in particular our Reporting servers
• Manipulate, analyse and interpret complex data sets
• Design, build & maintain data extracts, reports and dashboards
• Set-up and maintain automated data processes
• Support and enhance existing applications and interfaces
• Perform data modelling & ETL
• Troubleshoot applications/programs, down to program code level
• Perform system administrator duties
Systems and technologies
It will beneficial to have experience of the following:
• SQL Server 2008 to 2019
• T-SQL and Query optimisation
• SQL Reporting Services (SSRS)
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Web technologies e.g. web service functions/APIs, SOAP
• Data file formats e.g. CSV, XML, JSON, SAP IDocs
• File transfer technologies e.g. FTP, SFTP
• Middleware technologies for message translation
• ERP - preferably SAP ECC6, ABAP
• BI - preferably QlikView, QlikSense
• Advanced MS-Excel, VBA
