Due to a period of impressive growth and expansion, my forward-thinking client based in Gillingham is looking to recruit a dynamic and well-educated Assistant Accountant. Reporting to the Finance Director and working to specific deadlines you will play a hugely important role in the continued success of this company.

In this newly created role you will have the opportunity to provide financial support to the Finance Director in preparation of monthly management accounts, monitoring and reviewing all sales and purchase ledger, reviewing nominal transactions, bank and credit card reconciliations and assisting with payroll.

It is imperative that you have strong IT, excel skills and systems experience. My client is keen to find a candidate with a can-do attitude, someone who is always looking to improve current processes and systems, so they become more efficient.

The minimum technical requirement for this opportunity is AAT Qualified or someone who is studying towards their CIMA/ ACCA qualification. Study support will be offered with this role for the right candidate.
