Reed Facilities are working with a leading food logistics company suppling high calibre food to the catering sector. They are now seeking a Night Warehouse Supervisor to join their team in Tonbridge.

Hours: 40hrs per week over 5 days, weekend working is involved and the shift times are 10pm-6.30am.

Salary: paying up to £32,000

Working under the Nights Manager, your support will provide strong man-management to all front line staff on your shift. You will supervise a team of contracted staff across their busy night shifts to ensure that they meet and exceed every customer’s expectation. They are a service led business, growing in a difficult marketplace at present, but determined to lay the foundations to continue and accelerate this growth when normality resumes. You will need to motivate and manage your team and work with the business’s senior leadership team to develop every individual to always perform at their best.

You must be able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team under pressure.

Experience/Qualifications:

· Management experience of leading and managing a team.
· Must be able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment to tight deadlines
· PC Literate
· Good communicator and able to liaise at all levels
· Flexible approach to work to meet business requirements

Responsibilities:

· Supervise a team of up to 20 direct reports providing leadership and direction for the shift
· Develop and train reports and ensure targets are hit for the Night shift
· Ensure compliance with all site rules and regulations
