Clarendon Homes is an award-winning residential house builder, seeking a new dedicated and enthusiastic Architectural assistant/technician/technologist/designer to add to its small design team. It’s friendly and bustling open plan office is located on the outskirts of Maidstone, and boasts both great transport links and a number of different internal departments, whom collaborate through all stages of a residential development. The company also hold regular social events, with both current and former staff members.

The ideal candidate should be proficient in both AutoCAD Architecture (ADT) and the Adobe Suite (Photoshop and InDesign), as well as hold at least 2 years minimum experience in the industry. The job role will primarily focus on assisting our in-house Architect with producing planning submission packages, ranging from individual bespoke homes to larger developments. Experience with working drawing and building regulation packages would be considered advantageous, but not essential.

Clarendon are looking for a good all-rounder with a great design ethos and keen attention to detail. Applicants should have a strong work ethic and excellent organisational skills, in addition to being proficient in written and spoken English.
