E-Type UK is looking to recruit a Senior Restoration Technician to its current workforce, applicants must be experienced within a workshop / restoration environment (minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience) and ideally have worked around / within the classic car industry.

The successful applicant will have a strong work ethic, work well within a team environment with a willingness to learn, the position will report into the Operations Manager.

Key areas of responsibilities will include:

- Partial and full restoration projects
- Completion of vehicle service and maintenance
- Diagnose vehicle malfunctions, and recommend/perform appropriate repairs
- Carry out initial fault finding and rectification of issues
- Ensure quality of own work is always maintained
- Timely completion of all tasks with minimum supervision
- Capable in the use of a wide range of machinery, tools and equipment utilized in a modern classic workshop environment.
- Comfortable and competent with wiring at all levels, including the fitment of fuel injection
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested

The key skills and attributes for this position is as follows:

- Strong experience team player work ethics
- Previous experience as an Automotive Technician
- Candidates will be required hold a full clean UK drivers’ licence
- Used to working in a varied and changing environment
- Strong communication skills

The position will require the successful candidate to have experience, candidates without relevant experience will not be successful and should not apply, all candidates are required to submit a CV.

Hours of work are 8am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday and two Saturdays a month, working on average 47.5 hours per week, the successful candidate.
