Job Summary
To assist in the day to day welfare and maintenance of animal colonies within a barrier production area, to include, colony management, husbandry and animal order processing (will also include occasional weekend and Bank Holiday work on a rota system).
Demonstrate strict compliance with bio-security, Home Office, AAALAC and Production processes/guidelines identifying and initiating own training/retraining where required.
Rota 1 - Full Time 39 Hours Per Week (Sunday - Thursday) - Please note throughout training this position will be working Monday - Friday
£19,272.24 p.a.
Sunday 8:00 am - 1:00 pm or 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
Rota 2 - Full Time 35 Hours Per Week (Sunday - Thursday) - Please note throughout training this position will be working Monday - Friday
£17.295.60 p.a.
Sunday 8:00 am - 1:00 pm or 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Monday - Thursday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Education/Ability
3 GCSE at level C or equivalent
Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate clearly with other members of the team.
Good personal organisation.
Ability to follow detailed instructions.
Numeracy.
Commitment to excellence.
Ability to work under strict hygiene conditions.
Must have own means of transport.
