Management Accountant | Mid Kent | £40k - £45k equivalent

Our client, a well-established organisation is looking to appoint a Permanent Management Accountant to join them based on their site office within Mid-Kent. Due to location you will be require to have access to your own transport. This role is fully office based and you will work 37.5 hours a week. Ideally you will be Qualified or Qualified By Experience.

Job Description:

• Preparing monthly management accounts.
• Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Maintenance of the Fixed Asset register.
• Providing support to the Finance manager on budget and forecasts preparation.
• Preparing VAT returns/reconciliations.
• Production of weekly and monthly reports for management.
• Collating of timesheet information for payroll purposes.
• Additional business improvement reporting/analysis tasks in support to the Finance Manager.
• Office for National Statistics survey submissions.
• Inter-company reconciliations & postings.
• Audit preparation support.
• Holiday cover and general support to both the sales ledger, purchase ledger and the wider finance team.
• Ad-hoc tasks as required to support the Finance Manager and the wider senior management team.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience in a management accountant role.
• Ideally ACCA/ACMA qualified (or qualified by experience) with a proven track record of attention to detail, producing accurate work and meeting deadlines in a support role.
• Must be computer literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel).
• Excellent communication skills – the ability to communicate with colleagues, customers and suppliers at a range of levels is essential.
• A professional, diligent and friendly manner.
• A team player with a flexible and pro-active attitude towards working.
• The ability to drive and have own transport is desirable, due to the office location.
