WE are seeking applications from HR Managera in Kent who would like to join a growing and reputable engineering business who operate across dual sites in Kent and Essex.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director and being a key member of the SMT, this role is responsible for managing all HR related matters. You should be able to work autonomously, acting as the one of the lead custodians for the Company's values, promoting the business as an Employer of Choice in the local market and to ensure that all regulatory compliance is achieved as appropriate.

You will be responsible for:

* Managing all aspects of operational HR to include the recruitment and onboarding process;
* Coordinating and advising on the in-house appraisal scheme;
* Liaising with Finance Manager on all HR related aspects of Company stakeholder pension scheme to ensure compliance to necessary regulations;
* Advising Managing Director and senior colleagues on all aspects of employment law;
* Heading up all disciplinary and grievance cases to ensure full legal compliance and to maintain appropriate consistency;
* Managing staff attendance policies and procedures;
* Maintaining information and reporting on areas such as headcount, probation and attendance;
* Writing and maintaining Employee Handbook, policies and procedures, etc.
* Advising on all aspects of Company compensation and benefits strategy and approach;
* Booking and monitoring all aspects of staff training;
* Chair monthly HR management meeting;
* Present to shareholder meetings regarding HR related issues and strategies;
* Maintain Investors In People' accreditation;

We are seeking a commercially astute HR professional who will be CIPD qualified, with a minimum of 5 years' experience - ideally from within a manufacturing or engineering business. You should have working knowledge of IiP, with demonstrable knowledge of employment law and providing guidance.

Interviews will be held early in New Year and an immediate start is available to the successful person.
