We are working with an established and industry-leading manufacturing company, based on the outskirts of Rochester.
This is an opportunity for an Engineer to progress into a technical sales focused role, after spending up to a year in the engineering department learning about products and the manufacturing processes and technologies.
You will be involved in the company's product offering and provide development support on new product development, with the aim of eventually progressing in to the sales team to assist clients with product selection and effectively growing and developing the business
To apply, you should be qualified in an engineering discipline from Level 4/HNC and above, possess 2-3 years experience working in an electro/mechanical manufacturing role and have an understanding of manufacturing processes and principles. Knowledge of writing product design specifications would be advantageous, along with project management experience. Your experience should also cover industrial specification processes and commercial constraints with a clear understanding of European standards and specifications.
