Underwriting Syndicate Analyst
- Permanent Contract
- City & WFH hybrid flexibility
- Salary - To £45,000 + benefits package
To support the Active Underwriter by providing a variety of essential support functions.
Duties to include:
- Matching signings that do not match automatically
- Management of claims messages
- Coordinate premium tracking
- Analyse estimate premium income against syndicate business forecast
- Management of claims & premium bordereaux
- Monitor loss aggregations
- Monitor the reinsurance program and recoveries
- Ensure financial and regulatory returns are delivered
- Coordinate peer review protocols
- Ensure accurate and compliant file management
What you need:
- This role will suit an experienced London Market underwriting analyst or assistant with in-depth understanding of the financial and regulatory dynamics of syndicate business.
- An understanding of quota share and/or excess of loss reinsurance would be preferred.
- Excellent problem solving skills and adaptability are essential.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders is required.
