Job Title: Quality, Compliance and Risk Officer

Salary: £34 - 42,000 depending on skills and experience

Location: Mid Kent (Kings Hill)

Great opportunity to develop your career with this established business as a Quality, Compliance and Risk Officer.

This is a busy role providing assurance that the service delivered complies with legal requirements, best practice and internal business standards, whilst ensuring relevant external certifications are achieved and maintained.

Duties include:

* Ensuring that the company achieves, maintains, and embeds relevant external certifications, including but not limited to ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001.
* Delivering an internal audit programme, liaising with both Internal and External Audit, ensuring any issues are identified and addressed.
* Ensuring compliance with statutory and customer contractual requirements, best practice standards and internal policies and procedures. This will involve producing relevant KPIs, gap analyses, and root cause analysis.
* Supporting service managers to prepare for and respond to statutory changes, business, and customer requirements through assessing change impact on business operations and providing appropriate training and guidance.
* Using the Risk Management Framework to coordinate risk management across the business, including maintaining the risk register and providing advice, training, and tools to the wider business teams.
* Maintaining the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan, ensuring Impact Assessments and Plans are in place across the company and subject to regular testing and review.

The successful candidate will have:

* Experience of leading quality improvement and external certification projects, as well as delivering internal audits.
* Experience of best practice quality, risk, information security, environmental and business continuity management including designing effective controls.
* Ideally, a qualification of at least HNC level in a relevant discipline.
* Really good analytical and data handling skills in order to produce great reports and business improvement plans.
* Knowledge of industry regulations, including ISOs. Ideally, ISO 9001, 27001, 31000.
* Good awareness of information governance, data protection and confidentiality issues.
* Excellent MS Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Great organisational and prioritisation skills, with close attention to detail.
