We are currently looking to support an International Manufacturing client in the recruitment of an International and UK Business Development Manager to join their UK based operations but to drive new and maintain existing business in the UK, Europe, South America, South East Asia and Middle East.
Our client has developed expertise in reactive extrusion and flame retardant technologies and is today a premier manufacturer of grafted resins, masterbatches, compounds and additives for sale across all six continents.
Due to the retirement of the existing International sales professional in the New Year, this role is now a focus for our client and they are seeking a dynamic, smart, business development professional with experience of Agent/Distributor knowledge - ideally in the relevant field but they will look at someone who has also gained some experience in other sectors and who is keen to succeed and take on an International role.
The person:
* Degree educated with drive and ambition
* Sales driven team player who is comfortable in a home office and/or customer environment with experience of selling to Agents/Distributors
* Ideally possesses knowledge of the worldwide wire and cable market and specifications but not essential.
* Comfortable exploring new segments with new products..
* Familiar with selling into Wire & Cable Converters and OEMs would be a distinct advantage.
* Understands and meets the needs of all customers as well as addresses the concerns Adaptable and eager to learn with a high level of time management ability
* Happy to travel internationally and across the UK
In return, you will receive a competitive basic salary with a group related bonus, annual reviews, 25 days holiday plus bank holiday and car allowance.
The role will involve international travel.
