£28,224 - £30,004 per annum including SEN Allowance + £1,200 per annum if holds HLTA (Actual 41 week salary)

38.5 hours per week, 41 weeks per year

As part of the 41 weeks, the post holder will be required to commit to two weeks Short Term break care work during school holidays.

Bradstow is a creative and unique residential school for children between the ages of 5 & 19. It is situated in 13 acres of parkland in Broadstairs, Kent. We seek to meet the needs of children and young people with autism and severe learning difficulties with associated behaviours that may be challenging using a Gentle Teaching approach and engaging in reflective practice. The aim of this post is to lead and manage the class in the absence of the teacher, directing the implementation of schedules and support plans for the young people, and designing and implementing daily programmes and schedules.

In the short term absence of a teacher, you will, on a regular basis, supervise whole classes, ensuring colleagues deliver pre-set work and behavioural support plans safely and effectively.
