Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Quantity Surveyor/Project Manager to join their established and growing company based in Rochester, Kent.
The role entails:
- Providing budget and high level figures for cost planning purposes
- Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and in budget
- Regularly visiting the site and carrying out monthly interim valuations
- Preparing drawing take off, schedule of works and bills of quantities with knowledge and experience of standard methods of measurement, particularly NRM
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Quantity Surveying or Project Management Degree qualified and Chartered
- Previous experience working as a Project Manager or Quantity Surveyor in a cost management role on the Client or Consultancy side
- Experience with contract administration, particularly JCT or NEC contracts would be beneficial
- Excellent communication skills
- Good IT skills
- Full clean driving licence as this position will require commuting to projects as required
The salary for this position is up to £60,000 depending on experience
