We are looking for a HR Advisor to join our client on the outskirts of Rochester. This is a HR Generalist role. Initially this is a 6 month FTC, however, there is a possibility of this being extended. To provide day to day HR Support across the organisation in relation to all HR Queries, Employee Benefits, Recruitment, Training and Development, Employee Relations and other administration for the employees in line with best practice and statutory obligations. To support the HR Manager and Training Lead on various projects.
Key roles, responsibilities and Tasks * Act as a first point of contact for employee queries. * Providing advice to Line Managers in relation to employee performance, conduct and absence management. * Manage employee relations casework including disciplinary, grievance and absence management. * Liaise and assist line managers with all stages of the recruitment and selection process. * Review and produce job offers and contracts of employment. * Manage and be a key user on the HRIS system, maintaining contracts, employee data and other employee information. Train new employees in using the system. * Organise and co-ordinate employee on boarding. * All other associated duties that may be associated with a HR and Training Team function. * Support HR Manager and Training Lead on various projects.
Project work; * HR Projects: * Salary benchmarking and job evaluation and reviewing and writing up to date job descriptions and person specs. * Implementation of new HRIS. * Policy and Procedure Review. * Contract review and formation of templates. * Development of recruitment and selection strategy.
Qualifications/Skills
* CIPD with evidence of continuous professional development * HR generalist experience * Experience in using HR Systems * Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy * Understanding of UK employment law. * Excellent IT skills, including HR systems and Microsoft Office. * Excellent communication skills * Excellent problem-solving skills.
Due to location it is essential to be a driver. Monday to Friday 8am-4pm. Please apply with a current, up to date CV, preferably in Word
