This role is being presented on a fixed term contract basis for 12 months, with the possibility of a further contract extension thereafter, so excellent long term prospects and is an interesting administrative support opportunity for someone who enjoys working with Excel.
Applicants must be able to create spreadsheets, understand formulations as well as being able to populate Data in a spreadsheet.
This is an administrative support role within the R & D Team (Research & Development) where you will learn "on the job" with lots to learn which makes it even more interesting!
It not only requires someone with strong admin skills together with a good attention to detail, but someone who can spin lots of plates in the air at once, so the ability to multi-task, is a must!
Working within a friendly team, you will be provided with information as to what is required, you will then gather information/data from colleagues (internal and external), ensuring it is all there, updating the system (on which you will receive training) and very occasionally gently chasing colleagues, if perhaps they have not provided the information, by the due date, so lots of co-ordination and bringing together of information.
Hours of work & salary:
39 hours per week with an early finish on a Friday!
Monday to Thursday 8am – 4.30pm, Friday 8am – 3.30pm
30 minute lunch break
A favourable salary/hourly rate is available depending on experience.
Free parking.
