My Client has been a World Leader in their Industry for over 100 years. They have a very stable workforce, but are now looking to expand their Production Team and recruit a Production Operator on day shift.

Salary:

* £24K, going up to £26K after the successful completion for their 6 month probation period.

Shift pattern:

* 06:00-18:00 Monday to Thursday
* 16 call in shifts per year as part of their salary, used on Friday's as/when required (once these 16 shifts are worked overtime is paid for any further Friday's)

Holiday:

* 20 days holiday per year (fixed holiday around out planned shutdown periods - 1 week at Easter, 2 weeks in August, with the rest booked around Christmas).

The Role:

* To be part of a small efficient team of operators on a continuous production line
* Operate one of the company's many machines, with a view to becoming multi skilled across the many production processes
* Actively participate in continuous improvement and problem solving activities
* Perform regular product checks
* Ensure all required paperwork/data is completed promptly and accurately.

Experience required:

* Experience of working within a manufacturing/continuous production line environment
* A keen, enthusiastic learner, self-motivated with a "can do attitude".
* Reliable, flexible, hardworking and diligent.
* Good team player and able to communicate clearly and concisely.
* Have a 'hands on' and proactive approach to their work.
* Good attention to detail with problem solving and analysis skills.
* You will need your own transport due to the location
