Warehouse Team Leader
Isle Of Sheppey, Eastchurch, Kent.

Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm

Temporary to Permanent Position.

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader role to be based at HMP Swaleside on the Isle of Sheppey. Working with groups of prisoners you will be managing the daily operations for your group,

Purpose of the Role

To Manage the day to day operations with groups of prisoners
To comply with all HMP processes with regards to the management and recording of prisoner activity
To ensure Health and Safety Compliance
To ensure that all KPI's and production requirements are achieved and exceeded.
Reconcile stock levels within the warehouse against delivery and pick of each item.
Manage the delivery of accurate and timely dispatch of orders to offenders.
Monitoring and reporting any security concerns to the Security Manager.

The nature of the role requires candidates to be security conscious and able to challenge potential compromises and risks, you will also need to be reliable and consistent, level headed and have exceptional interpersonal skills. Successful applicants will have a background in cleaning, and will be assessed based on the following competencies: Acting with integrity, respecting others, Building relationships and team working, communicating effectively, developing self and others.

Security Clearance required:
All applicants will be subject to the HM Prison Service Security Clearance procedure which can take up to 2 weeks. You must hold a Valid Passport or Birth Certificate & Photo Driving Licence in your current address. All applicants must be able to provide details of 2 satisfactory references, at least one from an ex-employer.
