A Calibration Technician is required for a market leading force in fire containment technology, this is an exciting time to join the company who are currently bringing to market a new product.
In this role it is essential that you have previous experience as a Calibration Technician, the purpose of this role is to measure the accuracy of the measurements taken using their equipment.
You will be using the equipment to complete tasks such as the measuring, analysis and recording of data, this role is pivotal to the success of the testing procedure. You will record accurately the precise calibrations, the readings, actions and output of the equipment and manage the documentation required to ensure that calibration activities are carried out correctly.
About the role
* Routine testing, calibration and monitoring of equipment
* Analysis and interpretation of testing result data
* Compilation of reports for management
About you
* Demonstrable experience within a similar role
* Excellent mathematical and numeracy skills
* IT proficient with strong Excel Skills
* Degree Educated within Mechanical, Engineering or Electrical Engineering, will consider qualified by experience
* Strong communicator, written and verbal with excellent attention to detail
The salary on offer is competitive, the position is full time, Monday-Friday 08.30-5.30pm (½ hour lunch and 2 tea breaks) 28 days holiday (including the bank holidays) and due to the location, your own transport is essential.
