About the role
The position is for an Accounts Assistant role within Vital Parts Ltd reporting to the Head of Accounts. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately processing documents, reconciling accounts, and credit control. Working within the Accounts Team you will be a key figure helping to ensure that transactions are processed promptly.
The right candidate will be conscientious, take pride in their performance and show initiative in problem solving. In addition, they will have good interpersonal skills and telephone manner.
Duties will include Credit control
Month end journals
Processing purchase ledger invoices
Reconciliation of supplier invoices
Assisting in providing management information
Dealing with customers and suppliers in a polite and professional manner Being part of a fast-paced and energetic company
What you need
2+ years accounts experience ideally including credit control Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
Demonstrates enthusiasm and passion about making a difference
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build successful working relationships
Shows self-motivation and a positive attitude
