If you have experience in event and/or meeting organisation and have successfully supervised a team we would welcome your application for the role of Student Experience Co-ordinator in the Division for the Study of Law, Society and Social Justice.
The Student Experience Co-ordinator will assist, in a support capacity, with the day to day planning, administration and co-ordination of student experience related events, activities and initiatives. You will be self-motivated, highly organised and have a strong commitment to providing consistently high quality service to students (prospective and current).
You will provide a knowledgeable service to students and staff, ensuring the relevant University procedures and processes are followed. In conjunction with colleagues, the role holder will deliver a service which makes a positive and measurable contribution to the success, experience and academic attainment of students.
This position is available on a fixed term contract for 6 months.
As Student Experience Co-ordinator you will:
support the promotion, co-ordination and delivery of a portfolio of events etc. to enhance the student experience and engagement for all students in the Division
assist with the planning and co-ordination of Welcome Week, transition events, graduation and other activities to support and enhance the student experience
liaise closely with the Division’s marketing team on internal communications with students, to help foster a sense of community
organise and minute the Student Voice Committee as relevant, ensuring that all actions are followed up in a timely manner
To be successful in this role you will have:
GCSEs in English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above), or equivalent
experience of working in a similar administrative post and/or level, dealing with enquiries from a diverse range of sources
excellent customer service skills with the ability to deal pleasantly, confidently and effectively with customers and colleagues
excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
experience of using social media and other online tools
