Insurance Claims Trainer
Kent, Essex, Sussex or Manchester
£25,000 - £30,000
Barker Munro Recruitment are working with an expanding innovative insurer to recruit a number of Claims Trainers into their dynamic and forward thinking teams.
Working as part of Group Technical Claims you will be responsible for the creation, maintenance and delivery of specific material/modules of Technical Claims Training, across all Customer and Third Party claims teams, including some of the following areas; Customer Home claims, First party motor repairs, motor total loss claims, Third Party Damage, Third Party Bodily Injury, Recoveries, Credit Hire, TP intervention and Claims Fraud Teams.
This is currently home based but will eventually be working across multiple locations delivering classroom and 121 training, side by side coaching and creating technical e-learning solutions.

Additional responsibilities will include;
• Reviewing all Customer Home, Customer Motor and Third Party Motor Claims Training material and ensure all is current and fit for purpose.
• Maintain a record of all Technical Training delivered or planned, to ensure a transparent view of the Group Claims Training programme.
• Provide timely MI to the Claims Management Team and other key stakeholders on training delivery and evaluation results to demonstrate the benefit to the business.
• Work closely with Group Claims Managers/Team Leaders to ensure Competency Skills Matrix and Personal Development Plans contain appropriate technical training solutions and any learning sessions are scheduled/planned.

We are seeking applications from candidates with;
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in all aspects of Home, Motor or Third Party motor claims, with strong technical skills
• Experience in delivering both classroom and side-by-side training.
• Experience in producing professional, comprehensive, structured, engaging and innovative claims training material.
• Excellent communication, planning, prioritisation & organisational skills.
• A familiarity with PC office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
• Professional qualification an advantage but not essential.
