Commercial Broking Team Leader

Barker Munro Recruitment has a brand new role for an award winning Broker in the ME postcode area, for a Team Leader.

You will take responsibility for a team of commercial insurance brokers to assist in developing them and managing their day to workflow. Specific duties and responsibilities include negotiating renewals and delivery of working with insurers and clients along their journey.

The Commercial Team leader will personally be responsible for servicing of an allocated selection of larger and more complex accounts and handling of mid-term issues on renewal business.

In addition, you will have staff responsibility and liaise with the HR team on employment relation issues, look after team including absence management, conducting 1-2-1’s, encouragement team members and identifying areas of new training or skill checks. You will get involved in the hiring processes and new team member training.

We are seeking applicants with a solid background in Commercial insurance broking with experience of running a team within an insurance brokerage. You will be professional, have excellent communication skills and be self-motivated in the working environment with a positive and motivational approach.
