The Best Connection Employment Group are currently recruiting for a Drivers Mate to begin an ongoing assignment with our client based in the Staplehurst, Kent area.
As a Drivers Mate, you will be responsible for:
- Unloading the vehicle
- Speaking with customers regarding delivery times
- Assisting the driver with routes
- Providing a good level of customer service upon delivery
Candidates will ideally live local or have access to their own transport due to daily change in shift times.
You will be expected to start work between 03:00 - 06:00 dependent on the route with an approximate finish time of 14:00. However, finish times may vary on some days dependent on the route and load.
Successful applicants will be comfortable lifting items up to a maximum of 25kg throughout the day.
In return, you will receive:
- £10.00 per hour
- Weekly pay
- 28 days holiday per annum
- Potential permanent position following a successful trial period
