Customer Service Advisor - Dutch Speaking
Dover, Kent
£24, 558 - 25,340K + Company Benefits
Our client, an established shipping company that operates from the UK to Ireland and Continental Europe, located in the Dover district of Kent, is currently looking to recruit a Dutch speaking Customer Service Advisor to work on a permanent basis.
Working Monday to Friday and one weekend in three, potentially increasing to alternative weekends
Duties & Responsibilities
* To support the Dutch & English-speaking markets through the sale of services
* To consistently provide an exceptional level of customer service through both telephone and email channels
* Upselling products
* To liaise with Revenue teams in the area in order to maximize space and revenue.
* To apply appropriate Amendment and Cancellation charges to bookings in line with ticket type Terms and Conditions
* To ensure details are accurately captured in order to maximize space utilization
* To action all customer requests within agreed KPI's using company booking systems
* To contact customers to advise of disruptions and amend bookings to meet requirements and safeguard revenue
* Responsible also for amendments to existing bookings and ensuring applicable cancellation fees are applied to ticket types.
* Accurate recording of customer travel requirements and passenger details on booking systems
* To understand the requirements of PCI-DSS regulations within the office environment
* To liaise with port operations, vessels, Finance and Revenue Management teams.
* Understanding of GDPR
* To generate revenue through the sale of Season Tickets
Person Specification
* Be either a Native Dutch speaker or be able to speak the language at a fluent level
* Happy to work alternate weekends
* To be interested in pursuing a career within the customer service sector
* Ability to deal with bookings and questions from customers on the telephone
* Good communication skills
* Able to upsell sales on the telephone
* Be proactive and personable
