Faversham Town Council is seeking to employ a part time youth worker, with a minimum Level 3 relevant qualification, for 20 hours per week covering evenings, weekends and school holidays.
The main purpose of the role is:
Engaging with young people to facilitate their personal, social, sports and educational development and enable them to gain a voice, influence and a place in society.
Work in partnership with other local organisations to manage and deliver added value outreach youth provision.
Provide activities to help support the needs and development of young people.
Run a timetable of weekly sessions Provide volunteering opportunities to young people aged between 11 and 19
If you are excited by development and like a challenge, can enthuse others, and have a minimum of 3 year's relevant experience of working with children and young people, this could be just what you're looking for.
This is a new role so days and times for working are not set and will be discussed at the interview stage.
