Our client, a manufacturing company based in Ramsgate, is currently looking to recruit a Metal Finishing Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.
The role will be paying a competitive salary.
As the Metal Finishing Technician, you will â¦
* Undertaking a breadth of tasks including Electro plating
* Support the Metal Finishing Supervisor and Team Leader with delivering the day to day needs of the Metal Finishing operations.
* To assist, as required with the monitoring of stock levels for chemicals and consumables.
* To assist, as required with certain elements of machine maintenance (preventative and scheduled).
* Support with the training and development of the Metal Finishing team.

Person Specification:
* Metal Finishing or Engineering qualification
* Highly numerate and literate
* Capable of using, with a high degree of accuracy, a range of measuring tools
* Able to work in a team in a demanding, customer focused working environment
* Computer based skills (Microsoft Office)
* Experience within aviation would be advantageous
