Project manager - New build Industrial Unit, Civils/Groundworks bias. 12 months work, immediate £competitive

Your new company
An established Civil engineering contractor with a long history of delivering projects across the UK and ireland. Schemes are typically in the £5 - 10 mill range and include new processing plants, Industrial units, infrastructure works and other Quarry related building schemes. Due to a shortage of Kent based managers they now seek an experienced project manager to head up a new £9 Million processing plant in north Kent, The scheme involves heavy land remediation, Groundwork's and infrastructure aswell as the construction of a new building capable of housing heavy plant and specialist machinery. The project is due to run for 12 months and starting imminently.

Your new role
As project Manager you will be no.1 on site reporting to an office based Operations manager, You will be responsible for all site based activities as well as health and safety, RAMS, procurement, short term programming, addressing design issues (with support) and generally ensuring the contract is being adhered too. You will be working with a small management team on site and directing the various specialist subcontractors.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced senior site manager or project manager with a background in delivering Groundwork/civils projects of a similar nature, Steel frame experience would also be desirable. You will hold valid First Aid, cscs and SMSTS qualifications and be available to start at short notice.
