Are you an administrator with experience of working efficiently and with discretion to support senior managers? Do you inspire confidence?

We are looking to appoint a PA to the Directors who will work alongside the senior leadership team. You will work closely with the Director of Division and Director of Operations to provide a range of administrative and secretarial support, also supervising the work of a Clerical Assistant.

Your role will enable these senior leaders to focus their attention on strategic and management tasks. You will be trusted to work efficiently and effectively in the Directors’ absence, using your discretion and understanding the confidential nature of the work.

In this role you will be at the heart of leadership in an academic division, working in a fast-paced, varied and exciting environment.

As PA to the Directors you will:

plan, organise and service meetings and committees,
undertake a range of administrative tasks, including planning, responding to enquiries, drafting documents and undertaking research
support the Divisional team with interesting short-term projects
be a first point of contact to visitors and staff
To be successful in the role you will have:

proven PA or administrative experience in a busy office
good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (intermediate level),
an interest and willingness to learn about current issues in Higher Education
flexibility and a positive outlook
