Liability Claims Handler
Barker Munro Recruitment, Insurance recruitment specialists, are currently working with an exciting insurance business who are expanding in Kent, that is currently looking to recruit a number of Liability Claims Handlers to join its team.
Responsible for handling from cradle to grave a portfolio of disputed motor liability claims – this includes investigating, reserving and negotiating settlement of the claims. You will make accurate liability assessments on claims and manage the process, liaising with all parties throughout the claim.
As a Liability Claims Handler, you will be required to build policyholder confidence by developing rapport through effective communication, validate each claim against policy coverage, arrange for payment to be made within authority levels and liaise between internal teams, third party suppliers and policy holders.
We are seeking applications for individuals who have Motor Liability claims handling experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should be a capable and confident negotiator and have a proven track record in dealing with liability disputes.
The team work on a shift pattern across 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday
The company offers a range of substantial benefits alongside a competitive salary and internal progression opportunities. Currently they are working a mix of home and office and have flexibility around this structure going forward.
