We have a fantastic opportunity within our vibrant and fast expanding property service company.
Based in our Rochester branch we are looking to recruit a multi trade operative to join the team to carry out property maintenance work across Kent.
This position is varied and will involve responding to reactive repairs, carrying out planned maintenance tasks as well as complete refurbishments as directed by our teams. The role entails working independently but will also require a good teamwork ethic.
In this role as a multi trade operative you’ll take a proactive approach in resolving repairs, maintenance and planned works within our ever-growing portfolio of residential properties in a professional, safe manner.
You will be supplied a company vehicle, uniform, and fuel card.
Subject to suitable references and Right to Work documentation.
Duties involve:

• General plumbing
• General Carpentry
• General ground works (for example fencing repairs)
• General flooring and tiling repairs
• General painting & decorating
• Flat pack furniture assembly
• Full property cleaning

Skills essential /desired in this role:
• Multi Skills as above
• Good Communication Skills
• Full driving license is essential.
• A relevant trade qualification or extensive “on the job” experience
• Experience in working within a Social Housing background is a plus.

We are pleased to offer the following package:
• The hours are 42.5 per week Monday – Friday (negotiable start/finish times).
• Overtime possibilities including unlimited weekday overtime.
• Basic salary £28,000- £30,000 per annum pro rata.
• 28 days paid holiday including Bank Holidays.
• Company vehicle, uniform, phone/tablet and fuel card.
