Production Operator

West Kent

£21K + monthly shift allowance c.£300

Hours: Shift Pattern: 6-2pm, 2-10pm, rotating (5 days per week)



A forward thinking and ever-growing manufacturing company based near Maidstone are looking to recruit a Production operative to join them on a full-time and permanent basis.



My client already has a great Production team and are looking for a real team player to join them for the long term. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within FMCG or the pharmaceuticals industry.



The role:

A diverse role which will allow you to demonstrate your knowledge and your professionalism.

* Working within a fast-paced production team
* Focusing on upskilling a range of processes
* Operating various machines and equipment to manufacture products to the correct product specifications
* Assembling products and carrying out quality checks

* Ensuring that standards are met within the Production department
* Maintaining compliance against internal audit requirements
* Record keeping of all production admin & record deviations electronically

* Abiding to Health and Safety guidelines



Duties and skillset:

* Previous Production experience
* Pharmaceuticals or FMCG industry experience is desired
* Good experience within a lean environment and GMP surroundings
* Health and Safety knowledge/ qualifications
* Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills
* A team player who is calm under pressure
* A natural problem solver
* Initiative; confident in bringing new ideas to the table
