Plastic Injection Moulding Machine Setter/Operator
BTL-UK LTD is a UK manufacturer and international distributor of Bearings, Power Transmission and Motion Transfer Linkages. We produce items for some of the world’s well-known brands such as JCB, New Holland Tractors, Volvo and John Deere, under our licenced brand name of DUNLOP.
Due to continued expansion at our Ashford, Kent sites we now require an experienced Plastic Injection Moulding Machine Setter/Operator to join our busy team.
The Role:
• Ensuring that safe working practices are maintained at all times
• Tool setting, changes and operation
• Minor tool maintenance & repair
• Maintaining all process quality control procedures
• Control of defects/scrap (start-up/re-start)
• Data recording, quality assurance measurement and preventative maintenance
Preferred experience:
• Minimum 3 years tool-setting experience
• Accredited qualifications in tool-setting & process optimisation would be an advantage
• Originate, understand and follow setting sheets
• Ability to recognise, notify, record and correct process deviations
• Flexible and adaptable team player, keen to learn and develop experience
You must be used to working to high levels of accuracy and productivity and have a good understanding of quality management systems and procedures such as ISO9001 & ISO14001.
